ATTAC (Advanced Technical Training in Aerospace Communications) is a structured career acceleration program designed to prepare engineers for aerospace technical documentation roles used by global aviation companies. This module introduces the fundamental principles of aerospace engineering and emphasizes the importance of effective communication within the engineering field. It covers key concepts, terminology, and methods used to ensure precise and clear information exchange among aerospace professionals.
This module focuses on the ATA iSpec 2200 documentation standards, which are widely used in the aerospace industry. It details the structure, guidelines, and requirements for creating and maintaining technical documentation according to these standards, ensuring consistency and reliability in aerospace documentation.
This module covers the development of S1000D data modules and the principles of technical writing specific to aerospace documentation. It explains how to structure information, create data modules, and apply best practices in technical writing to produce clear, accurate, and compliant documents.
The final module involves a project focused on aerospace Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) documentation. Participants apply their knowledge from previous modules to develop and organize an IETM, demonstrating their understanding of aerospace communication, documentation standards, and technical writing.
